I absolutely
LOVE this time of year! Now that Kinley is here, there are
SO many "first's" that I am looking forward to experiencing with her. One of them being, taking her to a pumpkin patch. Two weeks ago Saturday, after the kids had their morning naps, me, Preston, Ryan, and Adrianne loaded up the cars with the kids, met at Chick-Fil-A for a little lunch and then headed to Flowermound. Preston was NOT excited about going all the way to Flowermound. I've heard a lot of good things about it and Adrianne and Ryan took Eli there last year and really liked it. So, we were going. Preston promised to be a "positive trooper," and although he had a couple moments, he quickly reminded himself to be "positive." Ha!! I laughed inside when I heard him telling himself to be positive. But hey, whatever it takes.
After sitting in construction traffic for a little bit, we finally made it!
We parked and headed towards the fun. They have little wagons to pull around kids and/or pumpkins. It was perfect. We sat the kids in the wagon and off we went.
Here are some pics from our day:
She was so interested in all of the hay
It was so warm out, taking a break for some water

Kinley picked her pumpkin and we took a little break. Apparently, I need to feed my child. ha!
After a great time at the patch, we headed home. The kids were exhausted. I think Kinley was asleep before we turned out of the parking lot. It was a good day with great friends and I look forward to many more.
